Spasticity (high tone) can be managed with specific exercises, stretches and postural management techniques. Where appropriate, we can refer you to NHS neuro consultants for consideration of Botulinum toxin injections, if this would be beneficial to you.

Pain management

Pain is common with many neurological conditions. Physiotherapy can help to reduce pain with postural advice, positioning care plans, exercises, stretches or orthotics. The aim being to restore normal movement patterns.

NeuroMuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES)
